Hyundai Hope on Wheels to Announce Winners of $7.5 Million in Pediatric Cancer Research Grant Awards During National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Washington, DC – September 20 On Friday, September 23, Hyundai Hope On Wheels® (HHOW) will announce the winners of its annual Hyundai Scholar and Young Investigator Awards. Thirty-four researchers will receive a combined $7.5 million to continue research and study for pediatric cancer research. This announcement builds upon HHOW’s major milestone of reaching $115 million in grants to pediatric cancer research since 1998. At the press conference, Hyundai Hope On Wheels will thank the many stakeholders that have made it possible for the organization to reach this first milestone in their fight to end childhood cancer. HHOW will also announce its plans to continue funding pediatric cancer research with a goal to award an additional $100 million to pediatric cancer research in the United States.

Hyundai Hope on Wheels Awards $150,000 Research Grant to Children’s Medical Center Foundation in Honor of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Dallas, TX – September 1 Hyundai Hope On Wheels® (HHOW) and Dallas-area Hyundai dealers will present Children’s Medical Center Foundation with a $150,000 Young Investigator Grant to be used to expand the knowledge base of pediatric cancer and improve the standards of care. Children’s Medical Center Foundation, in partnership with UT Southwestern Medical Center, was one of 10 recipients across the country selected from nonprofit Children’s Oncology Group (COG) member institutions after a rigorous grading process.
