Event to Raise Funds and Awareness for Pediatric Healthcare
CHICAGO – July 31, 2012 – Hyundai Hope On Wheels®, a non-profit focused on raising awareness and funds to support childhood cancer research, has joined as the charity partner of the 16th Annual Chicago Half Marathon 5K which will take place on Sunday, September 9, 2012. Runners on The Hyundai Hope On Wheels 5K team will raise funds for the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago (formerly Children's Memorial Hospital). Participants who register for the 5K at www.HyundaiRun4Hope.org will be contributing directly to the fight against pediatric cancer, the leading cause of death by disease for children in the U.S.
