Discovery is the enemy of pediatric cancer, and Hyundai Hope On Wheels funds discovery – awarding major grants to research centers actively investigating treatments and cures. From the organization’s inception through 2018, HHOW has donated more than $145,000,000 to pediatric cancer research centers and we are proud to continue this commitment into 2019 with a goal to reach $160,000,000 in donations by the end of the year.

We intend to reach this goal through two available 2019 grant categories: The 2019 Hyundai Hope Scholar Grant & 2019 Young Investigator Grant.

• Hope Scholar Grant: $250,000 over 2 years
• Young Investigator Grant: $150,000 over 2 years

The Hyundai Hope On Wheels 2019 Hope Scholar and Young Investigator grants request for proposal (RFP) is now available to eligible pediatric cancer research institutions. We will be accepting grant applications for both categories until February 19^th, 2019.

Submitting institutions must be a member of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) and remain so during the time of the award, operate in the U.S., and primarily serve U.S. residents. The Institution must be a non-profit entity and able to prove their qualified tax-exempt status.
