National Youth Ambassador

"Attitude is everything"

In April 2013, when I was 8 years old, I was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. This is a type of pediatric cancer of the blood. My journey with pediatric cancer lasted through 3 ½ years of treatment. I am proud to say that I am a pediatric cancer survivor.

During my cancer journey my motto became, “Attitude is Everything,” and it really did help me get through the long journey. I even wrote this on my window to serve as a constant reminder. To the pediatric cancer fighters out there now, I encourage you to think positive. “Attitude is Everything.” You didn’t choose to get cancer but, you can choose how you fight!

I am very excited to be a Hyundai Hope on Wheels National Youth Ambassador. This organization has spent 20 years funding research, like the kind that saved my life.

I leave you with this thought: Hope is the only thing we have that is stronger than fear. If we have hope we can accomplish anything. Together, we can beat cancer. When life knocks you down, get up, brush yourself off and remember, Attitude is Everything!

Hyundai is committed to curing pediatric cancer and these are some of the photos of our National Youth Ambassadors supporting the fight. Through out the years we have a lot to be proud of. Special events and community activities show how far Hope On Wheels can go.
